RESOURCES FOR CHILDREN (LIS 2322) Survey of literature, film, video, and other formats for children from infancy to adolescence with an emphasis on contemporary sources. Critical evaluation of materials for use in a multicultural society and strategies to encourage the use of those materials by children and those who work with children.

FIELD EXPERIENCE (LIS 2921) [Note: My field experience took place at the McCormick Library at the Harrisburg Area Community College.] Supervised work in a library, archive or other information service environment that provides a frame of reference for understanding and an opportunity to apply the skills, methodologies, and theories presented in other courses.
